CCTV cameras need to be installed in seminaries: Ali Zafar
Star actor and singer Ali Zafar has urged the government to install CCTV cameras in seminaries after an eight-year-old minor boy succumbed to injuries following brutal torture by a seminary teacher.
In a Twitter post, Ali Zafar wrote: “I feel cc cameras need be installed in all madrasahs. Their curriculum, teachers and conducts to be monitored by the government.”
Appreciate it. I feel cc cameras need be installed in all madrasahs. Their curriculum, teachers and conducts to be monitored by the government. Awareness campaigns on child abuse behaviour. Anyone to teach should be tested for qualification and apppointed. https://t.co/UKmasqeYOu

The actor stated that anyone who is tasked to teach the children should be tested for qualification.
On the other hand, government’s Twitter handle wrote: “#Punjab has made a hotline for receiving complaints regarding schools. This hotline is currently being tested across Punjab, and a full-scale launch is expected soon.”
