Kapoor and Sons Bolna Inspired by Rizwan Anwar’s Laiyan Laiyan
Music composition is considered one of the toughest and most creative jobs in the Hindi film industry. But somehow, a lot of Bollywood musicians have eased the whole process of music composition to just two simple steps – Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V.
The recent one being ‘Bolna’ from Aliya Bhatt, Sirdharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan starrer Kapoor and Sons.
Yes you read it right. Bolna is almost a rip off of Laiyan Laiyan recently sung by Nescafe Basement 4 sensation Rizwan Anwar.
And the first one to point it out was Humaima Malick’s sister Dua Malik.

The next to follow was Selfie Queen Neha Kakkar, though she did not say anything about it, she opted to sing both the songs together in a little video clip and uploaded it on her socialmedia (Watch Below)

Laiyan Laiyan – Rizwan Anwar
“Laiyan Laiyan was nominated for 14th Lux Style Awards last years” said Rizwan, while talking to PMR. “If imitation is the best form of flattery, then I guess I am flattered knowing that the makers of Bolna from the movie Kapoor and Sons were inspired by the song that I sung” Rizwan added laughing.
“I actually did a remake of Laiyan Laiyan with Saad Sultan. The original is from Pakistani film titled Chooriyan and is sung by Azra Jehan and is composed by Zulfiqar Ali. Iam glad, I am able to bring back to life a tune, that was long forgotten by people.” he further added.
