Farhad Humayun announced “Main Hoon” featuring worlds renowned Egyptian Percussionist Hossam Ramzy on 28th December 2017.
Sharing on his Facebook, Farhad said: “My dear friend Hossam Ramzy is an Egyptian Percussionist. We played together earlier this year and did a track called ‘Mai Hoon’. Out soon!
His credentials will amaze you!”
As of now 2019, Farhad Humayun’s “Main Hoon featuring Hossam Ramzy” is finally out. What took so long for this video to release is no mystery. Music enthusiasts around, are well aware of Farhad’s brain tumor and his ‘life altering‘ surgery.
Main Hoon is Farhad’s first single in over a year featuring master Egyptian percussionist Hossam Ramzy in his last recording & guitarist Aziz Ibrahim. Main Hoon is an upbeat number with lyrics inspiring the listener to make a mark for him/herself, and not to live by pleasing others around him/her.
Talking about the song Farhad said”The song ‘Main Hoon’ is about the underdog. Don’t judge people because they’re not what YOU want them to be. Let people define themselves and respectfully disagree, if you do! .”

Hossam Ramzy as a performer, arranger and composer was absolutely versatile.
