The singer ushers in the new phase with Jhoolay Laal
Komal Rizvi has been present in the Pakistani music scene for a while now. After giving some good Sufi music from Coke Studio’s platform and pop hits with a diversity of style that brought her fame at a very young age, her new music album “Komal” is all set to release today at Palladium Mall, Mumbai in a colorful ceremony where her friends from the industry will be present to encourage her.
Along with this album release in India, her video song ‘Jholay Laal’, which is a mix of her trademark sufi-pop, will be released in Pakistan during the coming days.
The song video which has been directed by the talented Umer Adil. The song has been written by Komal herself, who wants to close the chapter on everything negative and sad in her life. Praying to the Almighty and with Laal Shahbaz Qalandar by her side, Komal is making this heart felt request in the song. She composed it with the same genuine determination to begin her new journey in life with her soul-food: Music. With the single’s video soon to take over television screen, the vocal powerhouse has is all set to make her voice reign Pakistan’s music industry
The album released by HMV today, includes three new songs including Jhoolay Laal and some previous melodies.
