Zubab Rana as Rafia in Fitrat is the Scene-stealer
Zubab Rana, the actress who has become known for her powerful acting chops, exemplary career choices, and an amazing work ethic that has given her a definite edge when it comes to her contemporaries. Currently starring in the drama serial Fitrat, Rana essays the role of Rafia. She’s a young girl, who is beautiful, kind, and caring towards her family. Her sister Faria is older than her and is headstrong and arrogant. She often ill-treats Rafia, along with her mother who leaves no chance to insult and ridicule her. She’s a girl who understands her responsibilities, and duties towards her home, especially when others neglect them at all times. She does all the chores; cooking, laundry, and cleaning. She looks after everyone and makes sure everyone is doing fine at all times. Unfortunately, there’s no one to care for her. Her mother and sister impose their wills, and decisions on her. They make her feel as if all she’s there for is to do the chores around the house, and nothing else.
Born on 3 June 1998, the young actress started her career with Naseebo Jali in 2017 and received a nomination for the Best Soap Actress at Hum Awards right with her debut role. This doesn’t only speak of the actress’s mettle as a performer, but it also helped her make her mark on the small screen in a short period of time. She then appeared in Mere Khudaya and Bandish, and again received a nomination for the former as the Best Emerging Talent at the Lux Style Awards.
Rana has once again, hit it out of the park with Rafia in Fitrat. She has graced the character with a lot of conviction. She looks gorgeous and commands your attention each time she’s on the screen. You feel bad for her, you want to defend her, and make sure she’s alright. And that’s where Rana succeeds in her performance. Looks like Rana has another winner on her hands and her performance will be a treat for all her well-wishers, and fans as well as the critics.
