Shaan Appeals PM Nawaz To Form Committee For Screening Of Pakistani films In India
Renowned actor Shaan Shahid has appealed Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to form a committee for the screening of Pakistani films in India.
The actor took to twitter and made the request after PM Nawaz formed a committee headed by Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb to give clearance to Indian films for screening in Pakistani cinemas.
The actor stressed that the films should not only be exported but imported too.
People related to film industry have backed Shaan and requested the government of Pakistan to look into the matter.
Cinema owners in Pakistan resumed screening of Indian films last December, ending a self-imposed ban of more than two months.
However; Pakistani artists and content are still banned in India.
