PMR heard Kate has been practising bagging up walnuts in decorative bags for staff at the Anmer estate.
As being a mother of two and attending official royal duties is not keeping Kate Middleton busy enough but according to reports The Duchess is launching her very own organic food range with her sister Pippa. The sisters are both great cooks that love to try out recipes together and have finally decided to turn their hobby into an enterprise.
Kate isn’t the only business-minded member of the royal family; Prince Charles’ organic farm at Highgrove produces a line of groceries, Duchy Originals.
Kate has reportedly been feeding her children, especially princess Charlotte with pureed fruit, vegetables and smoothies all organically grown in their Norfolk country home.
Kate so loves growing organic vegetables at her Norfolk estate, Anmer Hall, she is preparing the ground for a food brand with an appropriate title such as Anmer Organics. Earlier this year Pippa has taken food nutrition courses in New York and has helped Kate to design tasty recipes for her niece and nephew.
Her father-in-law Prince Charles famously has his Duchy Originals range, which is sold through Waitrose supermarkets. Prince Charles’s brand encompasses more than 200 products, featuring everything from bacon and jam to beer and ciders, and has generated huge amounts of money for charitable causes over the past two decades.
Kate Middleton and her sister Pipa’s mutual passion for cooking and healthy lifestyle has lead them to start their own organic food company catering food for the whole family including baby foods and grow-it-your-own vegetable kits.
Speaking about it a source revealed: ‘It’s a concept for now but it will happen just give it 18 months or so.’
Keeping with the entrepreneurial Middleton family tradition of creating ‘kits’ for all occasions, the sisters are said to have invented a ‘grow-your-own vegetable kit’ which would no doubt feature in the Anmer Organics range.
