Maria: The channel which has the most viewrship, Haha.
PMR: How was your experience working with Azfar Ali for the drama “Adaat say majboor”?
Maria: Azfar Ali launched me to the industry and working with him and the entire cast was truly amazing, such good and professional people to work with. I honestly miss shooting adat say majboor because it was one of the best set’s I’ve come across so far.
PMR: What do you see when you look at pictures of yourself from a recent photoshoot or acting?
Maria: I see a girl considerably doing well as for now but needs to work harder to survive in the industry.
PMR: What possible hurdles new comers can face in this drama industry?
Maria: It depends on the background one is coming from and how the particular person tackles certain situations as each person comes across different set of hurdles.
PMR: How would you describe the drama industry people? Are they really mean or nice?
Maria: I believe that in each profession one comes across different types of people and so is the case with our industry.
PMR: Modelling or acting which profession is more easy and comfortable for you?
Maria: No work is easy and as I’ve mentioned before every profession is different and has its own pros & cons, plus I haven’t done much of modelling so I’d rather go with acting for now.
PMR: Who would be the Pakistani actor and actress you would like to work with? (young and old ones)
Maria: Umm… They’re so many on my wish list and its pretty hard to decide and a name few but for a start there’s Bushra Ansari, Asif raza mir, Mahira khan, Shaan and the list goes on..
PMR: About drama industry they are people like Veena, Meera and Mathira and and some are like Syra and Maahira. How will you differentiate these actresses?
Maria: I don’t know any of them personally, But I’ve seen there work and comparing all of them staying in the same field would be unfair because they have been working in different genre.
PMR: If you will get an offer for a Pakistani movie will you accept it?
Maria: Of course! If movies like BOL, Khuda ke liyea and WAAR are getting produced then why not. Beside that I think our film industry is getting prolonged really well.
PMR: If you would get a chance to give awards to the best Pakistani male and female actor who would it be?
Maria: Mahira khan and Fawad khan.
PMR: Last but not the least, a few words for Pak media revolution?
Maria: You guys are doing an amazing job! Keep rocking
