MANSEHRA/ABBOTTABAD : Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said the exciting “match” he had been anxiously waiting to play for the last 17 years is finally here .
“It is PTI’s “passion” versus Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) “profusion”, said the PTI leader during a bell-ringing rally .
Addressing a throng of cohorts here, he said everyone knew how good a player he (Imran) was and how well he played the cricket matches in his youth.
Khan said the “change” he had promised was not in the pipeline anymore it was already there.
“The change has come to stay. I see Pakistan’s entering golden era”, said he.
He said the PTI would once again restore the lost respect of green passport.
Imran Khan also addressed public gatherings in Batagram, Mansehra and Haripur.
He called on the people of Battagram not to cast their vote for old parties and be part of the change process in the country.
Later, addressing a rally in Abbottabad, Imran Khan said that PTI would strive for ‘Quaid’s Pakistan’ after coming into power.
He vowed to transfer powers to local bodies to further strengthen political system in the country.
Imran Khan said that PTI had challenged the inherited politics and would introduce a system of justice and merit in the country.
He said, “We will hold local bodies election with in 90 days and transfer all powers to them”.
