In the spirit of the festive season and to jump start the New Year, popular international energy drink brand STING debuted its brand new youth based campaign, “JHATZZZKA Dance move”, on 18th December 2012 across Pakistan. Celebrating the JHATZZZKA Dance Move Campaign, Sting held an interactive activation at Mall Of Lahore on 21st December 2012 where youth icons Meesha Shafi and Ali Safina were present to judge the JHATZZZKA Dance Moves.

Celebrating the energy and vibe of Pakistan’s youth, Sting’s campaign represented the first ever youth engagement digital program that invited youngsters all over Pakistan to showcase their energy through their original JHATZZZKA dance move. At a series of events across Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Gujranwala and Multan, each participant will be asked to do their version of a JHATZZZKA dance move, which is then recorded and judged by popular youth personalities Meesha Shafi and Ali Safina as the official judges for the campaign. Ali and Meesha will also shortlist the top 10 JHATZZZKA dance moves which will be brought to television screens across Pakistan with the premiere of an official STING JHATZZZKA music video on New Year’s Eve, featuring music from viral sensation and Lahore based musical act “Bumbu Sauce”.

Speaking about the launch of the campaign, Muneeza Anwar, Brand Manager at PEPSICO said; “STING is a great tasting energy drink, which gives you the ultimate kick and energy you need to keep you charged while you work, study or simply have fun. The JHATZZZKA campaign is a one of its kind celebratory campaign in this festive season, asking the youth to let loose and to have good healthy fun, showing Pakistan their one unique, energy fuelled dance move! ”

Meesha Shafi, co-judge for the STING JHATZZZKA Campaign has said, “The STING JHATZZZKA campaign is one of its kind; I personally feel it’s a brilliant initiative from the brand to engage the youth. I’m excited to be part of this celebration of energy and vibe on the eve of the New Year. We are looking for the most energetic individuals whose energy will kick start the New Year with their Jhaatzzzka move 2013!”

JHATZZKA dance move kick started nationwide and on ground from 20th December 2012: across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Multan.
