We came. We heard. We had the greatest time ever.Yes, people, I’m talking about the concert that recently rocked the socks off the Multani people’s feet. What started off as a rather mellow evening, turned out to be one of the most memorable nights in Multan’s concert history.
I don’t know if it was the amazing beats of the dhols of Panjtani, the new sound of The Sixth beat, Billy X’s “Juttni” or QB’s awesome Rolling in the Deep cover that made it the special night that it was.
A rapping Billy X on the platform was surely a sight to see. He had the whole crowd on their feet and singing along in no time. The Numb cover proved to be a special treat for all the rock fans in the crowd. On the other hand, QB started off with a bang and heated things up real soon. Following this, she sang the Pakistani classics like sabton soniya and the much awaited, Hamsafar theme song. Her unique voice really added that special touch to all those oldies.
The night, however, was not only about the music. For most of us, it was one of the most organized concerts we had ever been to. With people staying in their respective pass zones, not many problems were faced. So for all those who missed this great night, you missed out on something big, my friends.
