I have been getting some great feedback from the trailer of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan so today I thought I would blog about it. I think people have been expecting a lot from this venture and they seemed to have been pleased and excited with the first look. It looks like a fun ride to them, and as I have been told, they can’t wait to go and catch it in the cinema. I forwarded a few comments on a micro-blogging website that I got, to the director, and he was touched. I think Katrina‘s looking her best! People are appreciating her in such an over-the-top fun role. Also Imran in such a filmy avataar for the first time should be a treat for the audience to watch.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar has put in a lot in this film with his entire team. I hope everyone related to the film gets the best out of it and somewhere down the line I am also able to make my small contribution in achieving that too. It was an amazing experience working with the who’s who of Bollywood and it was like a dream come true for me. I always wanted to be working amongst the pioneers of Indian cinema and now that I have this oppportunity to do so, I hope I am able to win the hearts of my audiences really looking forward for the same.
I also am excited with doing a live performance for Mere Brother Ki Dulhaan.
It has been an awesome journey for me so far and I have been enjoying every bit of it. It never felt as if I was working for something – I just felt as if I have belonged here… Always… Every day on the sets there was something new and exciting happening. When the shooting got over for the film I was completely overwhelmed. It’s good to see your efforts bear fruit and I expect that to happen from this film.
