PMR Exclusive: Rizwan Anwar Talks About Lux Style Awards and Star Plus

No matter how much hate there is for Pakistan in India at a political level but the truth is that the people of India, can not help but fall head over heels for Pakistani music, Pakistani Drama’s, Pakistani Musicians and Pakistani Artists over and over again.
The craving in India for Pakistani dramas, Pakistani music, Pakistani artists has been evident time and time again.
Star Plus for the first time in its entertainment history, is all set to air a Pakistani Drama titled ‘Mera Naam Yusuf Hai’.
Adding to the long list of Pakistani celebs who have made their mark in India is the ‘Laiyan Laiyan’ fame Pakistani Singer Rizwan Anwar. ‘Mera Naam Yusuf Hai’ stars Imran Abbas and Maya Ali, and the ost sung by Rizwan.
This news come in right in with the news of Rizwan’s nomination for the 14th Lux Syle Awards foor the category of best original sound track ‘Laiyan Laiyan Feat Saad Sultan’

PMR catches up with Rizwan:

PMR: How do you feel on the new of Pakistani Drama ‘Mera Naam Yusuf Hai’ being aired by Star Plus in India. Considering the fact that you have done the OST for this drama and it will be the first every Pakistani content to be played by Star Plus.
Rizwan: “Music ki koi sarhad nai hoti .jaise sunne walon per koi pabandi nahi hoti” I am indeed glad and thankful to the All Mighty. It feels wonderful of-course.

PMR: How was your experience while recording for Mera Naam Yusuf Hai?
Rizwan: I loved everything about this drama, from it story to the cast, the team; Everything about is simply wonderful. I really enjoyed working on this project and hope everyone likes it as much as I do

PMR: From Lux Style Awards nomination to Star Plus .. How does it feel?
Rizwan: Hard works always gives you the fruit of success. But I can not ignore the fact that my parents have always prayed hard for me. I do feel super excited on my LSA nomination for “Laiyan Laiyan”. Allah has blessed me with prosperity. And i am so very thankful to HIM. I request all my fans to please vote for me. The love of my fans, friends and family means a lot to me. I can never be thankful enough for all the support and love I get from them.

PMR: You fans would like to know whats happening with Rizwan these days?
Rizwan: I have plenty up my sleeves. A few solos and few collaborations are in the pipeline. My fans will definitely like them as much as they have liked and appreciated Laiyan laiyan , tu mera nae aur sajan nae milda.

PMR : Anyone special you would like to thank?
Rizwan: First of all Allah and then my parents. I would be no where without their prayers. The love of fans and friends means a lot to mee too. Saad Sultan specially has been a wonderful friend. I am so glad he has been with me through out my journey.
