BULGARIA: cueist Pakistani Muhammad Asif won the IBSF World Snooker Championship final, beating his opponent, the Englishman Gary Wilson.
Asif maintained a strong advantage against Wilson, be up 6-3 at the break.
Asif had already sailed in the IBSF World Snooker Championship final, crushing Alex Borg Malta, seven frames one and secured a place in the final. He reached the semifinals after beating Syria 6-2.
The cueist Pakistan had triumphed against Australia Vinnie Calabrese 5-0 in their last 32 matches played Friday in Sofia, Bulgaria. Asif has shown great confidence as he beat Calabrese 63-40, 115-14, 69-65, 67-55 and 67-15.
Asif remained unbeaten in the tournament.
