This is quite a departure from what you guys have heard from the Nescafé Basement till now. The best thing about this track is that my original composition has been totally and awesomely revisited. This groovy version is surely going to remain in your playlist for a long time! Haider Abbas on Bass stars in this song with the grooviest bass line of the Basement 🙂
This is one of the favorite songs of most Basement Artists as its one of the most, if not the most, fun songs to play and again shows what the Basement stands for! We experimented with the backing vocals in this song more than any other. Turaab Khan and Haris Usmani do a wonderful job there! Adnan Dhuul sings the song perfectly even though this was a song different to his own style, but he shines through! Shahrukh Aslam plays one of the grooviest solos of the Basement, Jibraan Saeed contributes with tasteful saxophone playing, Hamza I. Butt (Keyboards), Rabi Ahmed (Acoustic) and Fawad Hassan Zaidi (Acoustic) play second foil to the Bass in this song but nonetheless provide a solid rhythm section to the song while Mansoor Lashari, as always, plays with immense flair, and gives the rock solid foundation that he has given to almost every Basement song. Lastly, no points in guessing who whistles at the end of the song. Of course, our official Nescafé Basement’s Whistle Guy Rabi Ahmed!
